My Recent Lack of Posts

is due to an unprecedented bout of happiness. I think I’m only motivated to write when I’m annoyed, or wildly enthusiastic about something. Granted, a few small things have irritated me of late, such as American letters to the Economist bashing football, or Lucas Podolski winning the Young Player of the World Cup Award despite being a clumsy donkey. There was also the small matter of my car being clamped. Conversely, a few things have nearly motivated me to write because of their excellence, such as ‘Decemberunderground’ by AFI, but so far none of these things have been sufficiently inspiring.
Instead of blogging I’ve been playing Resident Evil 4, and frankly it’s far more fun. I’ve also been reading Don Quixote, which bears quite a few similarities to the Good Soldier Svejk, and thus I’m greatly enjoying. I never thought I’d say this, but life is pretty sweet right now.
Expect more posts when my mood breaks.
