This is a link to a hilariously sincere fundamentalist Christian site who are planning an expedition to capture some dinosaurs, thus proving that evolution is all silly nonsense peddled by dangerous fools. They call this very worthwhile venture “Project Pterosaur”.
Appartently they’re going after pterosaurs because, and this is a direct quote, “historical and modern reports of pterosaurs are much more common than any of the other Evolutionistically anomalous cryptids, suggesting that large populations are waiting to be revealed to our increasingly unbelieving world.” They claim they chose not to search for Velociraptors, who “today terrorize the goat herders of Puerto Rico and are rumored to guard the remains of the Ark” because “they have become vicious since the Fall as the result of the effects of genetic entropy, making them too dangerous for the sort of interactive public experience we have in mind.”

Holy Shit! I was positive it was a spoof. After looking around the site though I’m not so sure.
I’m convinced that they’re serious about it. Say what you will about Islamic extremists, but at least they’re not planning expeditions to capture dinosaurs.
