No, No, No!

I’ve just read on wikipedia that there is an American version of Battle Royale in the pipeline. Even if it doesn’t completely suck (which it undoubtedly will), there is still  no good reason to make another version, unless you’re a talentless film producer hoping to rip off someone else’s fine work by exploiting the fact that many Americans are too goddamn lazy to watch something with subtitles. I mean, nobody does things as well as the Japanese (for proof of this head over to Liam’s blog).

    Yeah, I found out about this a few months back, and have been trying to repress it ever since.
