Finished

I finished my exams today. No doubt Vittorio Bufacchi will be very impressed with my dreadful, circular explanation of Marx’s ideas relating to the economic base and the superstructure; despite understanding the concept quite well I tied myself in knots and made a complete hash of it. I also arrived late for my 9 a.m. exam, in spite of a superhuman effort on my part to be on time for once. At least the ‘Reasoning and Argument’ test went well, I think. The questions are a little like the leaving cert probability questions in maths which always seem like a cakewalk, even when you get them completely wrong.
Anyway, hurrah and all that. Time to wallow in that empty, anti-climatic feeling that follows the completion of exams.
Oh yeah, as John’s blog reminded me, it’s my birthday on Saturday, so if anyone feels like meeting up with me I’ll probably be in the Brog (how do you insert a damn fada on a computer?) at some stage that evening.

Kevin just told me that some of us are going to see a play tomorrow in the granary, not sure who else will be there. If you feel like coming text someone to check times and such (from half eight to ten I think), if you don’t feel like it remember we’ll be free in town after ten.
