Given that the Nintendo Wii is sold out, given that Call of Duty 3 probably isn’t all that good anyway (and in any event is not as good as the over-rated but still excellent Gears of War, which my brother already has), and given that this game is refreshingly original, it looks likely that I’ll be waking up to Viva Pinata on Christmas morning. It might look childish, but according to reviews it’s quite demanding of players, and besides, Pokemon looked childish too and that didn’t prevent it from being one of the finest games ever.

I’m still not sure about getting this though, so has anyone got suggestions about what I might get instead? Sarcastic responses will be unwelcome if they aren’t funny.
