Explain…
lol
Chineese girls ftw! /
Explanation:
Eoin O’Sullivan decided he wanted to go backpacking in China this summer. He posted something about it on his Bebo, and Shane Ormond and Anthony both opted in. Then recently he asked me if I would like to come too, to which I replied that I would. So now the four of us are going to be spending almost all of June in China.
Nice. I can totally see that becoming the theme tune for the trip.
Eoin O’Sullivan got the idea from me, and now I’m seemingly the only person who isn’t going. I feel like I deserve some sort of credit for the whole thing. That said, I give you permission to enjoy yourself completely. Perhaps you’ll meet some Taoist friends. Are you bringing your laptop? Keep a journal at least. It’s a blogging goldmine.
I’m wasting my summer already. *cries*
I don’t think they take too kindly to blogging in China. Plus, I’ll be travelling as light as possible. A journal’s certain to be kept though. I’m rarely optimistic about things, but I think this is going to be teh awesome!
I remember Liam, discussing where to go over the summer with me at one point, and I suggested China. He thought it was a good idea. So I think a small amount of the credit should go to me as well.
If it’s any consolation Liam, i’ll be wasting my summer too.
so this is a blog…. wow.. hey! its you guys! your all here?! cool!
anyway. ya i stole it from Liam. Whatcha gonna do?
o sullivan eoin i am
by the way… i want to revel in my whole noobishness by asking what FTW means? i always see it and imagine its something like.. “rules” or somesuch..
According to Anthony, it means “for teh win”, which is l337 speak (gay internet jargon, as you probably know) for … “rules”, I guess, as you suggested.
See also,
“for great justice”.
FTW means “for the win”. It’s mostly used completely out of context. Take this common example:
Bill: “I’m hungry. Hmm. What shall I eat?”
Dave: “Noodles ftw!!!”
You see…
And I’m going to curse your journey. With ants. Big fucking ants.
fuck your ants.

I think this is a record for my blog. Cheers to those of you who contributed.
Well it’s been at the top of your page for weeks now.
Plus “fuck your ants.” doesn’t deserve commendation of any sort. It’s not a contribution to anything.
Eoin.
That’s you.
still got the commendation.
which is more than you did.
