NIN are finally coming to Ireland! It’s official! The only drawback is that they’re supported Dave Grohl’s uninspired radio-rockers, the Foo Fighters, who blow chunks out a monkey’s ass (as Ze Frank once said about something else). And I’m also not sure if there are still tickets left. If that’s the case I’ll just have to pay over the odds for one; there is no way on earth I’m missing this.

No, it’s on the 22nd of August. It could be made into a pretty cool road trip if anyone else is interested in going. We could all drive up to Dublin in my car, park in my granduncle’s hotel carpark, bus/taxi to Marley Park, marvel at NIN, pretend we’re all 16 again and enjoy the Foos, and then drive home, taking in a midnight pilgrimage to Yeats’ grave (à la the Murderdolls). Sound like a plan to anyone else?
And, actually Ze was talking about the job of the guy that has to collect all the trolleys in an Airport, not airport queues.
