Old, but still the best candidate (from either party). His position on the Iraq war is going to ruin his chances though, and in any case I doubt he’ll get through the primaries. His ‘we do not torture people’ message didn’t seem too popular in Fox’s South Carolina debate during the week.
A light-hearted synopsis of the debate.

Some of those guys are idiots. Senator Brownback, the fifth to speak, talks about the loss of “American lives” and “US lives” as if they have some greater value than other lives, for example those in the West African country they’re invading.
Now, to a point I understand his position. As the US President it’s allowed to have that sort of preference for you own people. But he has no respect for world opinion. Wouldn’t upholding his country’s good name be upholding a type of “American-ness” too?
Oh and:
“We need these guys out of the United States. Where they can’t get an attorney. Some people are saying close Guantanamo Bay. I want to DOUBLE Guantanamo Bay.
*rapturous applause*
heheh… no attorney and tortue …so you support denying human rights then, both legally and physically.. sweet… is it possible to double a bay? it would involve a very complex system of dykes and sea drainage.
he should really think that out before he commits to it.
