Dental Hygiene in France

The Economist’s European Blog has an interesting post on oral hygiene in France, or rather the lack thereof. The most striking statistic (taken from an article in Le Figaro) is perhaps that “one million French citizens never brush their teeth”. I would have expected better from the French, despite the crude caricatures of the nation that still persist in some quarters.
