Seriously, this is all the guy’s running on. He’s built himself up as this ‘strong on national defense’ figure which has no basis at all in reality. Being pro-torturing terrorists is not being tough; it’s being stupid and counter-productive. He’s also a megalomaniac (he tried to postponed a New York mayoral election in the wake of 9/11), and his great exploits on 9/11, as far as I can see, amounted to little more than bossing around under-equipped firemen, many of whom later died. Those people are the real heroes of September 11th, and many if not most of them hate Giuliani.

I don’t know Giuliani that in well in the political arena. He isn’t even a governor or a senator. He was a mayor in a time of trouble.
