EA to Introduce Ad-Funded Games

The game publisher Electronic Arts, which is notorious for making lots of money through selling generally quite average titles, is planning to release a free online Battlefield game that will be supported by advertising revenues. Good idea, or just the latest step in EA quest to ruin video games?
