Neil Young at the Marquee

I only knew about half the songs he played, but that didn’t stop it being one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. I was afraid he might shy away from playing some of his more rocking stuff, but instead he came out kicking ass right from the off. While he didn’t play ‘Harvest’, ‘Revolution Blues’, ‘Rockin’ in the Free World’ or more than one track from After the Goldrush (as far as I remember), he did play ‘Hey Hey, My My’, which might just be the best song ever, and for the encore he knocked out a smashing rendition of ‘A Day in the Life’. And I saw it with my dad too, which was really cool in a way that’s hard to describe.
‘The Needle and the Damage Done’

Try describing it in Freudian terms.
