The Good Hangover

Usually I feel a bit fuzzy and down the day after drinking but today I feel great. Maybe it’s the sunshine outside, or the fading radiance of last night’s proceedings; everyone seemed really happy. However, I’ve a sneaking suspicion that I may just have happened upon a drinking sequence that makes my brain purr good feelings. I started with wine, which put me into a bit of a sulk, but once we hit the tequila slammers (and we hit them hard) I perked right up and everything was great after that point. Following the tequila there was an unfinished pint in the Bróg, some of {redacted}‘s whiskey, a lot of {redacted}, and then finally some guy in Dramat’s Jägermeister, which I polished off with some other folks while perched on a high wall overlooking a back garden.
And ever since I shuffled out of bed at 4pm and watered my guts I’ve felt splendid. Absolutely tip-top awesome. Dropping out of that med course was the best decision I ever made.
Update: I’m now straight edge so I don’t partake in any of this stuff anymore.
